Readers ~
I know it's been a while since I updated anything or posted anything and for that I am sorry. I always wanted to be a writer that kept readers in the 'know' and kept them informed. However, there has been a lot going on in my personal life, that as affected my writing.
Personally: My husband of 5 years approached me in February and said that he didn't think we we were as in love and as a result he wanted a permanent separation. That felt like being in a snow globe and being shaken violently. It really didn't help that within 24 hours he had packed, moved out, and removed me from all social media accounts. It honestly felt like I was being thrown away, which is not a pleasant feeling at all. Since then, we have filed for a divorce and are awaiting the final judgment. It's not been an easy process. As a result, I also have to ramp up a job search and try to put all the shattered pieces back into one, somewhat whole, piece.
Writing wise: I posted back in Jan/Feb that I had a few stories completed. Fate was one of them, unfortunately there is something about Fate that bugs me. It feels incomplete and I can't quite put my finger on what makes it feel that way. As a result, I have asked two people to read and review, but neither have gotten back to me and it's been months. I am going to ask one about progress and depending on the answer, I may spent weekend reading it to see if I can point out and fix what bothers me, or put my fears to rest.
Sessions was near the end but kind of fizzled a bit, partly because a new idea took hold and wouldn't leave my brain alone to finish Sessions properly. However, it is on my agenda to finish and edit during the NaNoWriMo April camp (which is under way!). Sessions is an AO3 exclusive story due to content. It will be posted here. (in case you don't have that bookmarked!)
When the future ex-husband brought about his stuff, I hadn't been long started a new story titled From Conway to Tulsa. I am within 3 chapter's of finishing this story and then I'll need to edit. However, I am moving this one up the schedule and will make an effort to start posting it across 3 platforms around the end of April to the first of May. I feel confident in this story given the time I spent planning.
